Chair for Hindu Studies
It is proposed to establish a chair for Hindu studies encompassing the studies of all three important sects, e.g. Shaivaite, Vaishavite & Shakta and further Vedic, Upanishads & Puranic literature at Mumbai University. In todays fast changing life Hindu studies have taken a back seat. With the establishment of this chair studies can be accomplished through Campus study, classes, symposium, seminar, lectures and workshops, etc.;
This chair will facilitate the studies about the Hindu Dharma and its ethos in more organized and scientific manner.
